Creating your custom hat is a personal, hands-on experience rooted in Texas heritage and elevated craftsmanship. Each piece begins with a conversation—about your style, your purpose, and how the hat should make you feel the moment you put it on.
Each hat is individually hand-blocked and hand-creased using time-honored techniques. The crown and brim are shaped entirely by hand, ensuring a refined fit and balanced proportions crafted specifically for you—never by a mold or a machine.
You’ll choose every detail that defines the hat’s character—from felt color and brim width to crown shape, ribbon, liner, and finishing touches. Nothing is rushed. Every step is intentional and precise, because a custom hat isn’t simply worn—it’s lived in, marked by time, and shaped by experience.

Our Custom Hat Experience
Creating a custom hat is a personal process—one rooted in craftsmanship, quality materials, and thoughtful collaboration. Here’s what you can expect when working with us:
Step 1: Envision Your Hat
Begin by selecting your felt type, color, crown, and brim style. Not sure what suits you best? That’s perfectly fine—we’ll help refine your vision during your consultation.
Step 2: Claim Your Place
A $150 deposit secures your spot in our production queue and allows us to reserve your fur felt. The remaining balance will be due once your hat is complete.
Step 3: Precision Measurement
Using a flexible measuring tape, measure around your head approximately ½ inch above your ears and eyebrows. Record your measurement. Precision here ensures a comfortable, custom fit.
Step 4: Personalized Consultation
We’ll take the time to discuss every detail—profile, shape, felt, and finish—ensuring your hat reflects both tradition and personal character. We’ll also review available upgrades, custom details, and timing. Consultations are available by phone, text, or email.
Step 5: Crafted by Hand
Once your turn in the queue arrives, I begin crafting your hat by hand. Quality takes time, and while production may not start immediately, I’ll keep you informed throughout the process and notify you when your hat is officially on the block.
Step 6: Delivered or Picked Up
After final payment, your custom hat will be carefully packaged and shipped to you. If you’re local to Frisco, you’re welcome to pick it up in person and experience it firsthand.
